Morgan White is Partner & Executive Vice President of Production & Development at Sundial Pictures (Obvious Child, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Pariah) where she also serves as the Producer on the feature films. Morgan is responsible for all aspects of production & development, overseeing the company’s slate of projects from the initial pitch through to the film’s delivery. Morgan produced the thriller Pod which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, Jack of the Red Hearts starring Famke Janssen & AnnaSophia Robb which won several awards including the Jury Award at the Bentonville Film Festival, & an American remake of the French horror film Martyrs. Her most recent production Youth in Oregon (dir. Joel David Moore) stars Frank Langella, Christina Applegate, Billy Crudup, Josh Lucas & Mary Kay Place. The film was released by Samuel Goldwyn.
Morgan began her career in the acquisitions department at Miramax, eventually moving over to The Weinstein Company, where she worked in Publicity on films including Grindhouse, Bobby, The Mist, Control, Halloween, and Factory Girl. In 2009, moved to 20th Century Fox where she served as a coordinator in the feature film production division, on movies including The A-Team, X-Men: First Class, Night at the Museum, and Unstoppable. In 2011, Morgan joined Caliber Media as their Production Executive where she oversaw Production & Development. During her time at Caliber, Morgan Co-Produced the suspense horror film Dark Was the Night , developed a slate of films, and produced several commercial spots for companies including Pacific Sun, and Beats by Dre.
Morgan will continue to Produce independently, while also focusing on expanding Sundial Pictures’ slate of films and maintaining its’ current roster. She continues to be an active member of Women in Film and the PGA and is based in Los Angeles.
